LAZR Dojo is building a Black-led immersive technology workforce pipeline in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Our 3-year scholarship model serves 180 underserved youth, transforming creative interest in gaming, digital art, and music into certified, portfolio-ready, industry-aligned career pathways. Better yet we teach them how to make their own studios!
What We Do
This initiative bridges culture and code — moving students from consumers of digital media to creators, developers, and technology entrepreneurs.
We are seeking strategic funding partners to support infrastructure, certifications, and scalable replication.
The Problem
Black youth remain underrepresented in game development, XR, and emerging technology industries.
Certification pathways in Unity, Unreal Engine, and Adobe are financially inaccessible for many families.
School systems are experiencing budget shortfalls that limit access to advanced digital labs.
The fastest-growing creative technology industries lack structured pipelines for underserved communities.
The result: Talent exists. Access does not.
The Solution
LAZR Dojo's 3-Year Immersive Technology Scholarship Model provides:
Structured 20-Week Skill Cycles
Unity Certification Preparation
Unreal Engine Production Training
Adobe Creative Certification Pathways
VR/XR Production Lab Access
